I am passionate about food and small business

Which has led to “Bite Me.” Bite Me focuses on food and beverage startups in the Capital District. It features conversations with business owners to discover how they were bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, and the one menu item that really represents them. Also, follow along to get the latest on what’s happening with the local food scene.

Bite Me came about after I closed my small gourmet cookie company. I loved my business but knew that the endless hours of baking was not my true passion. During that time, I had the opportunity to do several live baking segments on the local news, had our cookies featured as “Snack of the Day” on The Rachael Ray Show and was even a guest speaker on the Fox Business network. Those experiences ignited my true passion; television and media.

Bite Me is an opportunity for small food businesses to gain exposure while telling the world their story. It will cover how they got started, why they love making people happy with their delightful treats and what keeps them inspired. It also helps you, the reader/viewer, uncover delicious things right in your own backyard.

On the weekends, I love hiking in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, boating with friends, snowshoeing and skiing in the winters and playing with my rescue dog Lily. One thing I do every weekend is dine out at beloved restaurants or try the newest place in town.

Thanks for following along and I hope you get bitten!
